As many of you already know, WLBB was present in the house for the oh so speculated Media Day and has been sending out teasers regarding their experiences and when they can give us the 411 on it.

Just today, in the comments section of one of their articles, Brian posted the following;

We here at YakkityYaks thought it would be a good idea, with all the different tidbits floating around, to do a roundup of what we know, don’t know and are guessing so far about the upcoming season of Big Brother 11. With just about 16 days to go until the premiere it sure is getting exciting!

Here’s what we know so far that can be said as fact:

• Thanks to our own member Sassygal’s inquiry (she’s the one responsible for first breaking this one on the web! Way to go Sassy!) to Showtime, Big Brother After Dark WILL be returning to the airwaves this summer.
• Housecalls with Gretchen will NOT be returning this summer, due to lack of sponsorship.
• Big Brother 11 will premiere on July 9th, with the first eviction to be on July 16th.
• Julie Chen WILL be hosting all season, unless her in utero bambino decides to make an early appearance.

Here’s what we do NOT know for SURE:

• The exact number of houseguests (although there’s a lot of guessing and surmising going around, obviously nothing’s confirmed yet until the CBS website updates it)
• The “twist” (for more though see our other articles with guesses on it, and read below)

Here’s the speculations currently circulating around the web:

• The house theme this year is eco-friendly.
• One possible twist is that there’s no set prize money and the houseguests have to earn it somehow.
• Another possible twist clue centers around high school type cliques (although personally, I swear to god if the cast of High School Musical, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Hannah Montana or ANY of the Jonas Brothers show up I’m running away.)
• Houseguests will actually be going into the house on July 5th (hope they at least get to see some sort of fireworks in sequester!)

Thanks to BBDish for this scoop! It’s unconfirmed obviously until we see actual house pictures, but per the post over at the Dish, here’s some tidbits about the Big Brother 11 House, yay! Now, just as they say at the dish, this could be true or it could be someone having a good time seeing how fast they could make stuff spread through the ‘net so before you read try a grain of YakkityYaks salt.

“A staffer from The Insider won the media game. They played all the regular competitions plus a new one that had something to do with the house.

Spa room and all bedrooms except HOH were locked off. Kitchen table looks like a canopy tree. Whole kitchen/dining area looks like a forest (?) with fake grass from the backyard as “carpet.”

According to their post, and this obviously isn’t confirmed true but listed as being fairly credible (however I agree with the poster in that it would be very hard to follow two houses and twenty four people), there are TWO DUPLICATE houses being built for Big Brother 11.

Why?

Apparently two houses with 12 houseguests each will be playing the same game, at the same time until it’s down to one person in each house, at which time we, America, gets to decide which of those two get the actual prize money. I don’t know if this is true but it would be VERY unique!

Per Online Big Brother, CBS has announced the airdate schedules for Big Brother 11! (And remember, if you know you’re going to be pre-empted for any of them, or live on the West Coast and can’t wait for the airing there, you can always come to YakkityYaks for Ahrean’s (formerly known as KR/JR) world wide web famous show recap threads where she types up what happens, as it happens on the show!). Per onlinebigbrother, they counted the usual Thursday evictions and are surmising 13 houseguests for this go around, this hasnt’ been confirmed as of yet but makes sense.
