Introducing ‘Big Brother Victory House’

YakkityYaks will be featuring a weekend-long version of CBS’s Big Brother.  Big Brother Victory House–named after the location’s former party nickname–is a scaled down, North Carolina-based reality game that will see the likes of nearly sixteen people compete in a house cut off from the outside world.  With no cell phones, no televisions, no music and no Internet access, these houseguests will encounter the nearest thing possible to a stay in the real Big Brother house.

This will be Big Brother Victory House’s ninth season, and it will feature several of the game’s most notorious players from the past, alongside partners with whom they share dynamic relationships in the “real world.”  Modeling this season after CBS’s most recent season of Big Brother, Big Brother Victory House will follow a similar format–but with some surprising alterations.  While the upcoming season’s details are still wrapped in mystery, this season’s hosts promise that Big Brother Victory House’s ninth season is quite the jaw-dropper.  This crop of dynamic duos range from relatives to coworkers, and from romantic partners to life-long friends, but despite how close they are, they will ultimately have to face off against one another.

Like CBS’s Big Brother, fans may watch a 24/7 live feed broadcast from inside the Big Brother Victory House compound.   Viewers may choose between two cams, and they may also chat about the game with other viewers.

“We’re just die-hard Big Brother fans, creating a game for other die-hard fans,” host and YakkityYaks member Alex Roten says.  “We don’t have a CBS-sized budget, so of course we can’t pull off elaborate live feed cameras or ridiculously over-the-top challenges.  Don’t expect our houseguests to be hanging from a crane in our backyard!” he laughs.  “This is all for fun!”

“There’s always plenty of scheming and backstabbing, and the inevitable crying and arguing,” Alex continues.  “Houseguests really get into it!  It’s surprising how much of a pressure cooker the house can be, even in such a short period.  It’s fast-paced, so there’s always something interesting happening.  We are really wanting the YakkityYaks community to watch, discuss and enjoy our game!”

Big Brother Victory House: Dynamic Duos kicks off Friday, October 7, and it will conclude with the live finale on the following Sunday.  Fans may visit the official website at www.bigbrothervictoryhouse.com for more information, and to get exclusive details about the upcoming season.

Big Brother 13 Adam Poch: ‘Creepiest Stripper at a Bachelorette Party’

The Yak had the pleasure of chatting with Adam Poch, 3rd place finisher of Big Brother 13! He gives us the low down on what it’s like to be a fan playing the Big Brother game!

____________________________

The Yak: Hello Adam! How are you doing this morning?

Adam: I am doing amazing! It would have been better waking up with a half a million dollars, but instead I woke up with something even better, I woke up with my girlfriend and I am out of that house.

The Yak: That is so awesome… I mean final 3, I know it isn’t exactly what you had your eyes on, but you know, final three, Tori Spelling, the Summer of Big Brother and now freedom! How does it feel to be Adam about right now?

Adam: You know, it feels pretty damn good to be Adam right now I gotta admit. It was a Summer that I never expected to happen, even though I was trying for a few years to get on the show, I never expected to get on. Then to actually get on the show and compete, and win competitions and get to the final three, who would ever think that? And Tori Spelling showing up? Phenomenal. I mean David Hasselhoff, that was cool, but if I never met David Hasselhoff, I could have continued living my life, but being able to meet Tori Spelling? And more importantly Tori Spelling knows who Adam is! If I had just gone to one of her book signings and asked her to sign my book and I would have said I love you and I host trivia night on Beverly Hills 90210, you’re the greatest, she would have thought I was just some weirdo. Now she thinks I am still a weirdo, but Adam the weirdo from Big Brother. She invited me to come over to her house for Christmas, I love my girlfriend dearly, we have a future together… Tori has a reality show where she plans weddings, who knows.

The Yak: Maybe she can plan your wedding!

Adam: Maybe with my little bit of quirkiness and loving Tori Spelling and loving 90210 I could get her to plan our wedding. Rachel won’t be the only one getting a dream wedding this season.

The Yak: Well, Rachel had her wedding this season.

Adam: Yes with the cutest ring bearer ever, as well as probably the creepiest stripper ever at a Bachelorette party.

The Yak: Yeah, we can get on board with that statement.

Adam: Well you gotta work with what ya got honey!

The Yak: We know you like fan sites, specifically Hamsterwatch

Adam: How did you know that? [laugh]

The Yak: I think I may just be psychic…

Adam: Well, now that I have been on the show, I will be for sure checking out every site now. I am a bit of an egomaniac, and if there is something written about me, whether it’s good or bad, I will read it. Even if it’s bad about me, I know who I am, and if your talking bad about me and you never lived in that house, you have no idea what you have to go through on a day to day basis.

The Yak: That was exactly what we wanted to ask you. Being a fan just like we are, watching the show and feeds, hanging out at the websites criticizing the game play and players, what can you tell us now that you have experienced it first hand?

Adam: You know, before I walked into that house, I had so many ideas of how I wanted to play the game. I watched how other people played it, and I knew I would have to play my own game, obviously not realizing the type of people I would be playing with, especially strong competitors that knew the game inside and out because they played the game before. That was definitely the toughest thing to get used to. The first couple of weeks, still trying to learn about people… learning who you can trust and who you can’t and in the meantime, there are 5 to 6 people who knew exactly what they were doing, so that was the toughest part of the competition. You know as a fan when you are watching on TV, it’s so easy to criticize… you have to sleep with both eyes open in that house. You can’t even sleep sometimes! I’m sitting there running scenarios through my head, and that person that’s laying next to you pretending to be sleeping and you wonder what scenarios are running through their heads. You know the first couple weeks trying to figure out who to trust is the hardest part… and once I started working with Jeff and Jordan, and I knew I could trust them, I think that’s when my game got some focus. People wanted to call me a floater and I call it covering my ass. I call it making sure I was not a target. I was making sure I was loveable and people wouldn’t look at me like I was a big threat, but meanwhile I was totally dedicated to Jeff and Jordan, and to some degree Rachel. I was definitely working with them when the newbies I was trying to align with either jumped ship or got in over their head, so I just had to make sure I did whatever I had to do to get by in the game. And say what you want about my game, I got to final three and gave myself a chance to win this game. Floater, drifter, fence sitter… you know there is no handbook that says how to play this game, and ya know what, in previous seasons, if I tried to play the game the exact way I played it, it may not have worked. So when you look at how anybody played this game, you cannot criticize how they did it, especially to get far in this game. You look back at every big move that was made this season and it blew up in their face, and not making a big move, was a big move, and not falling prey to help someone else out while not helping my game, that was a big move. So say what you want about me, but the moves that I made may not have looked big, but they got me to where I was.

The Yak: Did you experience paranoia in the game?

Adam: Paranoia sets in two seconds after you walk in that door. When you look at someone and you realize they aren’t here to just hand you a half million dollars, they’re here to take a half million dollars away from you. Then finding out people were throwing competitions early in the game because they didn’t like their partner, I mean come on… that’s why when the vets first asked me to come aboard and asked me to throw competitions, I did not want to roll like that. That’s not why I worked hard to get onto that show. That’s not why I tried 3 out of the last 4 years to get on that show. I did not go in there just to be someone else’s puppet, I went in there to win a half a million dollars. When I realized what I had to do, and maybe I was better off not winning competitions, that never stopped me from trying to win them. I said it to people in the house, and I will say it to anyone outside the house, I never threw a competition. If I lost a competition, it was because I sucked at it. When I got the Before and After wrong, the Fast Forward did startle me a little bit, the HoH Daniele won, it was the same one as the veto and we played it at night… I just got confused for a second and when you lose your head in this game, it screws you up. Hey, it worked out to my advantage… I wanted to get Jeff out, but I didn’t want to get Jeff out then. I wanted to get Jeff out in the final four and go head to head, but it worked out to help me a little bit. I was really upset I was not able to win the HoH and the Veto on the Fast Forward and keep Jeff safe because he had kept me safe and I wanted to return the favor. It really bummed me out. Then when Jeff looked at me after the vote came in 2-2 and thought I voted against him it really hurt me. But hey ya know what, any ripple in the whole scheme of things, I may not have been in the final three so…

The Yak: Do you think if Rachel had taken you to the final two you could have won and why did you ultimately end up voting for Porsche to win?

Adam: I’d like to think I could have convinced the jury to vote for me. Chances are with the people who were on that jury, they were pretty set on who they would vote for. Rachel did earn her spot there, Rachel was the fiercest competitor of the season. Honestly I threw my vote to Porsche, and people are giving me slack for that, but I did throw my vote to Porsche because I really did not want to see a veteran win the game. When it came down to it, I tried to help Rachel get further in the game so she could help me get further in the game, and I really wish she had taken me and showed me the same courtesy that I showed her by working with her and sticking with her, and keeping her safe when I did, and it did hurt me, so that’s why I did vote for Porsch to win. I know as a new player what I had to go through this time around and the fact that a veteren had a second chance to play the game, I felt like the new people definitely deserved it.

The Yak: Did the vets coming into the game change the way you had originally planned to play the game?

Adam: The only thing it changed was the fact the I knew there were some big targets in the house, and I can hide behind them a little bit. I knew coming into the game I’m a 40 yr. old quirky guy and I wanted to make sure people fell in love with me early because sometimes people don’t get me right away. Knowing that there were big targets in the house did let me take a back seat and blend in a little bit, which I know is hard to imagine from a guy who is throwing metal horns in the air and screamin’, but you had some other people that were playing the game too fast, too strong, too quickly. I let people like Keith dig his own ditch. I let Dominic dig his own ditch. That sucked because I really wanted to work with Dominic but with the veterans there, they knew what they were doing… but with the newbies there that didn’t know what they were doing that were getting in over their heads so I just took a back seat and let them dig their ditches and fall in it. When it was time for me to start steppin’ up, I thought I could put it into overdrive and step it up. I did for a little bit, but in this game there are so many up and downs week to week.

The Yak: Why didn’t you tell Jeff and Jordan about Shelly’s betrayel sooner?

Adam: Ya know, I didn’t want to believe it! I did not want to believe that Shelly was not on board. I thought Shelly was being true and honest with me because we would talk things through. We were both up early in the morning and we would talk about decisions that were going on, it always seemed like her and I were on the same page. When we did not agree on stuff we would talk about it. The fact that she was just actually just taking the information I was giving her and twisting it, going back to Jeff and Jordan telling them that they shouldn’t be trusting me… we didn’t figure that out until it was too late. I think Shelly did do an amazing job with that, trying to be a “Dr. Will”, trying to manipulate other people. But again, too much, too fast, too strong, and when people finally started comparing notes, we realized Shelly was the one that was betraying us.

The Yak: That’s what we saw as well. It seemed that Shelly was very manipulative, but at some point, it seemed she got a little too big for her britches so-to-speak, that she was doing it so well, she got a little cocky about it.

Adam: Exactly and in this game as you have seen before, once you think you got it wrapped up, that’s when you go down. When she was going upstairs when Kalia was HoH and telling Jeff, Jordan and myself that she was telling Kalia that she was voting to keep Rachel, but going up there to get information for us, we thought it was a little suspicious, but she had not done anything to that point to show her suspicion, so we didn’t want to believe it. Looking back if we had we realized it, when Shelly and Brendon were up, we could have sent Shelly home. But like I said so many times, any one change in the ripple, I might have not made final three, so it worked out the way it was supposed to work out. Except for the fact that I could not win one of the first two parts of the final HoH, because I got four questions right in part 3 sitting in the kitchen by myself, and could not believe how they weren’t getting these questions right, and that’s where I would have excelled because I did get to know all the jury members, as well as everybody in the house on a personal level, so I knew what they would have been thinking in those final questions. It was my own fault.

The Yak: Since we are running out of time, I would like a more personal question if I could. We know you lost a lot of weight before going into the Big Brother house, and just wondered if you did it using the Atkins or similar low carb program, and if that’s how you got hooked on bacon?

Adam: [laugh] No, I have always been hooked on bacon! I have been hooked on bacon since I was a little boy, and my father would cook bacon in the morning on the weekends, and I would wake up to the sweet smell of bacon… as a Jew it’s like the forbidden fruit. But I have been able to keep bacon in my diet and lose the weight by finding healthier alternatives still using bacon. Bacon is good for you, moderation is the key. Like anything in life, it’s all about moderation. You do not have to cut bacon out of your diet, you can still stay healthy, and look as good as I do… the sexiest man to play Big Brother!

The Yak: Well thank you so much Adam. You have a great day and some wonderful wrap parties!

Adam: Thank you so much I appreciate it.

Big Brother 13 Winner, Rachel Reilly: ‘Look at me now…’

The Yak had the pleasure of speaking with Rachel this afternoon, less than 24 hours after being crowned winner of Big Brother 13! Keep on reading what she has to say about her victory, the summer, and what she really thinks about her fellow houseguests. Our chats with Porsche and Adam will be up later!

Editor’s Note: It was a real pleasure talking with Rachel. Her bubbly personality was infectious and she was extremely friendly and genuinely happy!

__________________________________________

The Yak: Congratulations on the win! It must feel amazing! We are very proud of you…

Rachel: Awwww thank you! I WON BIG BROTHER! {laughs}

The Yak: You stayed real strong after Brendon’s 2nd eviction, told him in your goodbye message you were going to do this, and you got it done! How do you feel right now?

Rachel: Feels AMAZING! I can’t believe I won Big Brother. It’s surreal, considering everything that I had to go through in that house. It’s such a great feeling, especially knowing how many fans I picked up. I’m still trying to get used to that.

The Yak: You seemed to be a big fan of Big Brother… were you a fan before your original season? Did you watch the show and feeds or only the show?

Rachel: I was a fan of Big Brother for a long time. I never watched the live feeds but I always watched the CBS shows. I always told myself how I wanted to make it on this show, end up competing like Janelle, play a great social game, make the right alliances, etc…Things didn’t turn out so well in my season so I told myself that if I was ever asked back, I’d do it differently. When I was asked back this season, I made sure that Brendon and I adjusted our social game. I think we did a good job of it going in, considering we had no idea if any other veterans would be joining. The second we saw Jeff and Jordan, we knew we had to join with them and work on our social game from the get go. The competitions would come later.

The Yak: How do you think the vets changed the dynamic this year?

Rachel: The vets totally changed the dynamics this year. Not only did we have targets on our back, but we knew that we’d be picked off one by one if we didn’t join forces early on. It was a great idea to have fans and new people play with us, but it was also dangerous for us. Then Daniele had to go and ruin our game making a terrible move by going against our alliance. I’m still not sure why she did it, but it put us in danger and it wasn’t the smartest move Daniele has ever made.

The Yak: Looking back on the first few evictions the vets decided, is there any that you think you would do differently now?

Rachel: Well, you can’t really play the “what if” game. But I think evicting Keith was a great idea. I think evicting Cassi was a great idea. Looking back, I had no idea Shelly was playing a Dr. Will type game early on. Maybe voting her out instead of Dominic would have been a good idea for my alliance, but then maybe Dominic would have teamed up with Cassi or Dani or whoever was around and that would have hurt us in the end.

The Yak: Well and don’t forget that keeping Shelly a little longer got her to jury which gave you the victory …

Rachel: {Laughs} Exactly! That’s why you can’t really play the “what if” game here. Maybe then I wouldn’t have won.

The Yak: You’ve mentioned Daniele a few times already, is it safe to assume that we won’t be hearing of a Rachel and Dani friendship anytime soon?

Rachel: Probably not. Well {laughs} you never really know. Look at me now. Ragan and I are best friends, so I guess it could happen, but probably not.

The Yak: What was going through your mind when she made her comment as she cast her vote last night?

Rachel: I FOR SURE thought I had her vote, which would have meant I won the game. I didn’t think that she’d make a dig at me and vote for Porsche at the same time. I was really shocked when I saw that she voted for Porsche, and I was even more shocked when I saw that Shelly voted for me.

The Yak: Yeah, we saw it in your face. Did you know that you won at that point?

Rachel: Oh for sure. The second I saw Shelly’s key, I knew I won this game and I don’t even remember what was going through my head at that point. I was SHOCKED.

The Yak: Before that point, was there any other moment in the game where you thought you might win it?

Rachel: I honestly didn’t realize I was going to win this game until after I won the final HOH. I went to the Diary Room after I won and that’s when I first thought to myself that I could actually have just won Big Brother.

The Yak: You mean not once before last night did you think you might have a shot at this game?

Rachel: Nope, not at all. Considering how big of a target I and the other vets had on our backs, I knew that I’d have to step up my game; but every single week I thought that I’d be the one walking out that door. After Brendon and Jeff left, I for sure didn’t think I’d win this thing. Even if I took Jordan to the F2 I think she would have beat me, but I knew that her and I needed to make it there, so I knew I had to fight for it.

The Yak: If you had won the final 4 POV, who would you have evicted and why?

Rachel: If I had won…well, my hope was that Jordan would win the F4 HOH and I won the F4 POV. At that point, I would have evicted Adam for sure. My gut feeling was that Adam just wasn’t with Jordan and I 100%, and I was starting to think of ways for us both to make it to the Final 2.

The Yak: Speaking of Adam, what do you make of his vote last night?

Rachel: I was SHOCKED. I knew that Brendon, Jeff and Jordan would vote for me and that Shelly, Kalia and Dani would vote for Porsche.

The Yak: Right? Who would have known that Shelly would have been the deciding vote?

Rachel: I KNOW! It really hurt to see that Adam voted for Porsche. Before I evicted him, he stood up and made that speech and called Porsche a floater. Adam had always told me that if I won the final HOH, he’d vote for me to win because I deserved it. After all that, I’m surprised he voted for Porsche.

The Yak: Did you get to ask Adam about it since last night or no?

Rachel: I did. I actually confronted him in the backyard last night and he told me that he knew I had won the game. He told me that somehow he saw Shelly’s vote. I don’t really believe it; it seemed more that he was angry I evicted him.

The Yak: A lot of people were confused about the vote, but you still won! … If you were on jury instead of in the final two, who would you think deserved to win the game the most (other than Brendon) of all the other Houseguests?

Rachel: Jeff 100%. If Jeff made it to the finals, I would have voted for him for sure. He plays a great social game, he’s a nice guy, and I would have loved to see either him or Jordan win this game if Brendon or I couldn’t.

The Yak: Throughout the season, we obviously witnessed a lot of lows for Rachel, especially after Brendon was evicted the second time. Other than an underlying motivation to win the game, what do you attribute climbing out of those lows to?

Rachel: 100% Jordan. Jordan was my life saver in this game. She knew I needed her and she needed me. Our men were in the Jury house and we were left behind to keep on. Jordan and I HAD to make it to the final 2 and I knew that I couldn’t sit around crying too long or we’d be sent out next. For sure, I attribute much of my success to Jordan helping me through. I SO wanted to bring her with me to the finals, but obviously that wasn’t possible.

The Yak: America was totally team Jorchel as I’m sure you now know. Much of America would have loved that F2 as well, but you still did what you sought out to do so congrats!

Rachel: I know, I can’t believe it!

The Yak: A couple of fans at our site first want me to tell you how much they LOVE you! They would like to know… if you could say one thing to those people that put you down last season, what would it be?

Rachel: Uhh {Laughs}, Look at me now. {Laughs}

The Yak: Before we let you go, Rachel, we just wanted to say that when everything mellows out for you, you must check out our coverage on your trash bag wedding. That must have been a blast!

Rachel: Ohhhhhh! YES! I’d love to see pictures. That night was so much fun. I’ll definitely check it out.

The Yak: Well, it was a pleasure talking to you Rachel. You’re such a sweetheart Thank you so much for your time. You’ve definitely redeemed yourself this year with A LOT of people, and have so many fans now it’s incredible! Good luck with everything!

Rachel: Awww, thanks! It was SO much fun talking to you. Thanks so much!

Some Big Brother Fans Go Off the Deep End

UPDATE 8/28/11: The Yak scoops TMZ, who has now picked up our story (conveniently leaving out the link to our article in Big Brother Executive Producer Alison Grodner’s tweet). Sources close to Shelly say that Shelly’s family have been receiving death threats from fans and threats against her 8 year old daughter. Shelly’s employer also says they have been receiving harassing phone calls demanding Shelly be fired immediately. Sources say Shelly’s family will be getting the FBI involved, as they are taking the threats very seriously.

The Yak states again, it’s ok to hate how Shelly plays the “GAME”, hate the things she might say or do in the BIG BROTHER HOUSE, but leave her and her family outside of the show alone. I know it’s a minority, but whether you want to pretend it isn’t happening or not, it is happening.

___________________________________

I write this article in utter disgust. Absolute, total, UTTER DISGUST.

I, along with many people here, are huge fans of Big Brother, the reality show on CBS. Most recently, many fans lost the captain of their “team” on Big Brother, Jeff Schroeder. The blame of this loss is projected on Big Brother Houseguest, Shelly Moore, who turned on what was her alliance, and friends, Jeff and Jordan.

Jeff and Jordan have many, many fans. In fact, between the two of them, probably the largest fan base of any Houseguests on Big Brother. The only other Houseguest that comes close in un-official Big Brother 13 only polls, like the one on this page, is Daniele.

Recently in the news, we have been hearing about the violence between fans at Football and Baseball games, leading to some beatings, shootings and sadly, deaths, and we thought that was vile. Some Big Brother fans have taken it to whole new level, and the Yak couldn’t hold his tongue on this any longer. It’s sickening, not funny, and is literally psychopathic behavior.

**Click the pics in the article to make larger.**

[singlepic id=623 w=320 h=240 float=left]Today, a Facebook page has creeped up entitled “America Hates Shelly Moore.” Fair enough, the fans of Jeff and Jordan want to “vent” on Facebook, so be it. However, it has been taken to such a sick level that I am just in awe of the lunacy in people. I will not be posting the link to this Facebook Page here. If you want to see it, if you want to join it, look it up, or, go to Jokers where they are touting this hateful speech on their front page. **See Picture above**

[singlepic id=621 w=320 h=240 float=right]The hate speech has gone to a whole new level. People are posting phone numbers and e-mails to Shelly’s work, urging others to call to get her fired from her job. They are urging people to help get Josie, Shelly’s young daughter, kicked out from her school. They are posting Child Social Service numbers, and asking that everyone call them to report Shelly as a child molester to have her daughter taken from her, and they are wishing violence on her and their family. Why? Because she helped to evict someone they like on a Reality Game Show. It is a reality game show right? I mean, I am starting to think it isn’t anymore. I am beginning to think this is real life… like Shelly just killed these lunatics mother or child. It’s sick, and so wrong on so many levels, I just don’t understand it. Is Shelly the new Casey Anthony? This is crazy, sick and wrong.

[singlepic id=620 w=480 h=350 float=center]I am not a Shelly fan. I have not been a Shelly fan since day one. Her style of gameplay, her style of manipulation, the way she has gone about getting as far in the game as she has rubs me wrong. That’s an opinion. If you feel like you want to get her fired from her job, her child kicked from school, or you want her dead, then the Yak seriously suggests that you seek some mental help because it is truly, TRULY unhealthy. Even Jeff and Jordan would not only be very much against what you are doing, but they will HATE YOU for it. Know that.

This is giving Jeff and Jordan fans a really bad rap right now, and I really hope they will stand together, and “dislike” that page on Facebook, urge your BB friends to dislike that page as well, and try and keep the vitriol to a minimum as it is ONLY A GAME. IT IS NOT LIFE. Liking that page and posting hate there only incites these crazy people, giving them fodder to do more damage to a person, who at the end of the day, is a character/contestant we may not like on a reality show and will not affect us personally once the show is done. She will be forgotten along the likes of others we couldn’t stand. One should also ask that favorite site of theirs, if it is such, to take it off their front page, as promoting that hate is just wrong on any level.

Please, help to make it stop. We all love this show, and are avid, passionate fans. Don’t let that passion turn this ugly.

[Photo has been removed per TVGrapvine.com Request]UPDATE: An article on TVGrapevine is now endorsing this behavior as well, and jokers promoting their article. The article discussed the fight between Jordan and Shelly seen on the feeds after the eviction, and discussed how when a contestant on the show goes bad, that the internet viewers will use what they have at their disposable, the web, to fight back.

Second UPDATE: I would like to issue an apology to TVGrapevine. I received an e-mail from TVGrapevine this morning, defending themselves on their posting, saying that it was written by a member and not the views of the TVGrapevine team.  In fact, they now have, as of this morning, an article on their own front page denouncing the violent conversation about Shelly. Unfortunately, all the Big Brother sites do not have 100% control over what our members post in our forums. They now have a retraction at the bottom of the article discussed in the previous paragraph, stating “**** There is no where within this piece that says TVGrapevine or the writer supports the America Hates Shelly More Face Book Page. As a matter of fact the writer left out the URL on purpose the the terrible face book page.”

That said, they have also decided to attack us personally, YakkityYaks, and myself, touting “bad punctuation” of this article (in a badly punctuated article of their own) and that this article was written for self-promotion. They also say that we aren’t allowing comments on this post. Comments are open and free for anyone to put in their input. Them saying we are not allowing comments on this is an outright lie. Feel free below.

I would also like to apologize that the punctuation in this article is not perfect. The point of this article was not to write a dissertation of Reality Show Viewer’s psyche of the Id vs. the Idiot to be read over by Sigmund Freud, but to stop the insanity of wanting to do harm to a Reality Show Contestant and her family. If one chooses to read anything other than that into it, well, that’s ones own interpretation.

I am glad, however, to see that this article did incite some of the other sites to follow our lead in trying to put a stop to the Shelly Moore hate. Bravo to TVGrapevine for joining a very good cause since this article was written. This was my soul purpose. TVGrapevine has a Facebook Page Now: Stop the Shelly Moore Hate – I urge everyone to join it!

***Response to the comments below: This article is in NO WAY indemnifying Je/Jo fans! I said that Jeff and Jordan fans are getting a BAD RAP for this, (and they are) because the violent hate began after Jeff was evicted, and Shelly and Jordan got in a fight when the feeds came back up. This isn’t to say that it’s all Je/Jo Fans doing this. Let’s be clear about that.

In addition, regardless if Shelly hid a stuffed animal, had an argument with Jordan, doesn’t stop the conversation from Porsche about Rachel, leaves her child at home to go on a show, etc. etc. by no means should incite people to call Child Services on her family, try to get her fired, or promote any other violence to her or her family. If a person thinks that what she has done on a reality show deserves that, well then, this is who this article was written for.

You can dislike Shelly and the way she plays the game, the arguments with Jordan, and any other antics in the BB House all you want, just help to put a stop to the other madness going on. It’s just not right.

The Yak’s Interview with BB13 Evictee Jeff Schroeder!

The Yak had the pleasure to interview the latest victim of elimination, Jeff, following a grueling double eviction night in the Big Brother House! Keep reading to see what he had to say to our members questions, before being driven off to the jury house!

The Yak: We have a lot of fans of yours over here at YakkityYaks! We fans can see what a pressure cooker the Big Brother House truly is, but we never had the chance to experience it of course. Can you tell us, first hand, how it feels to be trapped in the house with mostly strangers, and how stressful it really is?

Jeff: The “strangers” part you get over quickly.  I like meeting new people – that wasn’t stressful.  The daily grind is stressful…very stressful.  The fun part is meeting everyone…the stressful part is living with them.

The Yak: Had you met Dick, Daniele, Rachel and Brendon outside the house previous to this meeting, and did you like them?

Jeff: I spoke with Dick several times before coming back on the show.  I liked him…you know what you are getting with him.  I never met Brendon and Rachel or spoke with them and I had met Daniele one time before briefly at a party.

The Yak, from Forum Member TheKdd: It was very ironic that both you and Daniele agreed that there were many players in the game that never stood up and did something for themselves, rather you both had to get your hands dirty. Many of us were hoping you two would have teamed up. Looking back, do you think there was anything you could have done more of that would have put you two on the same side of the house?

Jeff: I would have loved to team up with Daniele. I think we think alike, but after she tried to backdoor me for no reason, I could never trust her again.  It would have been stupid on my part to take that chance.

The Yak, from Forum Member KaysarRocks and CR: You and Kalia were discussing the Harry Potter book, and the fact that, originally, he was written to be a gay character, and your reaction to that. Can you clarify for the fans what you meant as it didn’t seem you were able to really express what your views on that was.

Jeff: My hesitation was not regarding the fact that he was gay…my point was that you cannot send your 8 year old kid off to a magical fantasy land…regardless of whoever is in charge. I would not send my kid off to a fictional, magical land.  It came off wrong and I apologize for that, but again, that was not my intention.

The Yak, from Forum Member Hapyhouswf: Unfortunately, you got got again. Anything you wish you had done differently?

Jeff: Yes – lots of things.  I wish I wasn’t painted as a target.  I wasn’t comfortable with that role and it ultimately led to my demise

The Yak, from Forum Member SassyGal: What was the best thing about returning to the Big Brother House? Other than eviction, what was the worst thing about returning?

Jeff: Best thing – 2nd opportunity at a once in a lifetime experience.
Worst Part – how stressful it is and how your mind plays tricks on you.  You feel yourself changing while you’re in the game.  A lot harder this time around.

The Yak, from Forum Member Kristin: Will you remain friends with Shelly outside the house? Will you pursue working with her?

Jeff: I thought I would be and I want to say that it’s all just a game, but for Shelly to do something like that to me really hurts — past the game level.  Right now, it stings, but we’ll see how I feel at the finale.

The Yak: If you had stayed and won HoH last night, who would you have put up and why?

Jeff: Kalia and Porsche – because I wanted to get floaters out of the house.  Shelly might have been in the mix because of what went down, but likely Kalia and Porshce.

The Yak: Who at this moment would you like to see join you next in the jury house?

Jeff: Shelly

The Yak: If you have the chance in the future, would you do it all again?

Jeff: You have to give me at least 6 months before I can even talk about BB.

The Yak: If you could start this season over again, what would you do differently?

Jeff: Wish I wouldn’t have been a target.

The Yak: Thank you Jeff! You are most loved over at YakkityYaks! Our fans are hoping to see you soon!

The Yak Chats with Brendon Villegas from Big Brother 13!

The Yak got a chance to chat with the latest evicted Houseguest from Big Brother 13, Brendon Villegas this morning. See below to read what he had to say!

The Yak, from Forum Member SassyGal: When you first came into this game, you and Rachel had said that you were going to play a different game this season. What exactly was your strategy this time around, and how did it change from last season?

Brendon: Last season we just had a straight up fight every single week to stay together and remain in the game. But this season, we wanted to work with other players and play a much better social game and take advantage of the fact that we weren’t going to have to play alone.

The Yak, from Forum Member kmteach: What was your strategy behind using the veto on Rachel, and how did you think it would further you in the game?

Brendon: By using the veto on Rachel, I figured I might stand a slightly better chance of staying in the game. And if not, at least Rachel would have a chance to stay in the game and play in the jury and I could protect her one last time.

The Yak, from Forum Member KaysarRocks: You and Rachel are great competitors as far as competitions go, but is it a good strategy to go in the game needing to win everything in order to stay?

Brendon: No, because Rachel and I realized, especially this season, that you’re better off being a floater and not winning anything and flying under the radar b/c nobody wants to take you out. But unfortunately, neither she nor I will ever be able to play in Big Brother with that strategy.

The Yak, from Forum Member Knucklehead: Out of the two seasons you have been on, which cast did you feel like you connected with the most?

Brendon: I definitely connected with more people from this cast and enjoyed it more.

The Yak, from Forum Member KaysarRocks: Do you believe that any of the fights that happened in the house were the fault of you and/or Rachel, or were all of them the fault of the other Houseguests?

Brendon: I think all of the fights somehow boil down to something Daniele has done or said in the game, even the latest one when Rachel approached her about what she said to Shelly, Daniele ran downstairs to turn it into a public fight essentially.

The Yak, from Forum Member Cappiesux: You and Rachel went into the house wanting to be different people this year then last year, do you feel you accomplished that despite getting into multiple fights with people and once again being the center of much of the drama?

Brendon: I do, because I think we had a much more relaxed time in the house and definitely showed to everyone that we are a real couple and are still very much in love and that we mean the world to each other.

The Yak, from Forum Member Sandy: What exactly was the strategy behind lying to everyone about who you were using the veto on?

Brendon: Because I wanted to really throw off Daniele’s plan. I know Daniele and I knew she would start making preparations on who she was going to put up as the replacement nominee and she would start making deals in the house and reassuring people they were safe, and if that changed, it would further people’s ideas about her as a manipulator and a liar.

The Yak, from Forum Member 19wingz: What’s different about your approach to the game this time around knowing what America thinks about you and knowing that you’re not being introduced to us on TV for the first time? How does that affect how you act in the house and how you make game decisions, if at all?

Brendon: I know that everybody in the house is going to have a preconceived notion of who I am as a person and who I am in the game makes me realize that I am never going to fly under the radar to the new people in the game.

The Yak: Us fans can see what a pressure cooker the Big Brother House truly is, but we never had the chance to experience it. Can you tell us, first hand, how it feels to be trapped in the house with strangers, and how stressful it really was?

Brendon: The boredom factor really plays a huge role in it, because there is not a lot to do in the house. You often begin to stress about the game way more than you should.

The Yak: If you stayed in the game last night and won HOH, who would you have put up? If who you put up won the veto, who would you have put in their place?

Brendon: I would have put up Daniele and Kalia, if someone won POV I would have put up Lawon as a replacement nominee.

The Yak: Who would you like to see make final two?

Brendon: Rachel, of course.
And besides her, I think I would enjoy seeing Adam go far in the game because he is a sweetheart and is also a huge fan of the game which to me, means a lot more than someone just wanting to win half a million dollars. Of course we are going to be inviting Jeff and Jordan to our wedding, especially since Jeff has that $10,000!

The Yak: What would you say is the best thing you experienced while being in the house? What was your worst experience (other than being evicted of course.)?

Brendon: The best thing was the mock wedding Rachel and I got to have in the house. It was a very special moment for me and I do believe it helped with me leaving the house. The worst thing was having Daniele, who I considered a friend, turning on Rachel and I early on in the game

Thank you Brendon!

So, what do you think of Brendon had to say this morning? Let us know below, then come on into the forum HERE for all Big Brother Discussion!

Mike “Boogie” Malin and The Crazy Lawsuit

Maybe this is why we didn’t see a return of Will and Boogie this year on Big Brother. Apparently, Mike “Boogie” Malin is too busy being “tied up” (pun intended) in lawsuit fantasy land. (pun intended again. This is way too easy.)

Attorney Martin Singer, whose clients include the tiger blood drinking superstar himself, Charlie Sheen, has found himself named in quite a crazy lawsuit filed by none other than Big Brother All-Star Winner Mike “Boogie” Malin. The particulars of the case are, well, insane, but not too far fetched in our opinion for the former reality “star”.

In the complaint filed in a Los Angeles Court, Malin accuses Singer and his client, Geisha House promoter Shereene Arazm (a former partner of Malin’s), of extortion, violation of civil rights, and infliction of emotional distress. Mike is claiming that Singer and Arazm hired someone to hack into his e-mails and tap his phone. Apparently, Mike thinks the world is just that interested in his goings on.

Mike says the pair sent him a letter back at the end of July threatening a lawsuit, which would expose Boogie “to public embarrassment and humiliation” in “an effort to obtain property by a wrongful use of force or fear.” The letter also states that Malin has “misappropriated more than a million dollars from my client.”

If that were the end of this story, that would be not so surprising… but that isn’t near the end of it.

In that same letter, Singer included a copy of the lawsuit yet to be filed, referencing Malin’s alleged Craigslist based sexual escapades. The lawsuit by Singer was filed today. The lawsuit accuses Mr. Malin of using embezzled Geisha House resources to set up “multiple sexual encounters with various older men, during which Malin would live out fetish role play fantasies … playing out Malin’s versions of a father/son and uncle/nephew relationship.” It even includes Mr. Malin’s nicknames for his older partners, including “Uncle Jerry” and “Dad,” according to the suit.

Former partner Arazm’s lawsuit, which speaks of Malin as a “washed-up reality star” and Moore (Malin’s other partner) as an “accused rapist,” lists many other ways the pair has allegedly diverted money and resources from Geisha House for their own personal use, including striking exclusive deals with vendors, diverting the rebated into “2Hype”, Malin’s privately held company.  The lawsuit is seeking more than $1,000,000 in damages.

Singer released a statement saying Malin’s suit is a “preemptive strike” and “desperate attempt” to divert attention from the claims against him and Moore, and he fully expects that the suit will be thrown out.

Singer also goes on to say that the allegations in Malin’s suit of e-mail hacking and phone tapping are “ridiculous; they have no facts on their claim.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Malin’s attorney has not yet responded for comment.

Oh Boogie, Who’s your daddy? Maybe that’s why Erika could get no where with him in Season 7 eh, and Krista must be thanking her lucky stars!

The Yak’s Interview with Cassi from Big Brother 13!

The Yak recently had the wonderful opportunity to yak with the latest evictee from Big Brother 13, Cassi. Check out what she had to say below!

The Yak: Us fans can see what a pressure cooker the Big Brother House truly is, but we never had the chance to experience it. Can you tell us now, first hand, how it felt to be trapped in the house with strangers, and how stressful it really was?

Cassi: Believe it or not, it truly is like a family in there, a very very dysfunctional one! I think this season in particular everyone generally liked one another and you have to remember competitions and game play aside, people don’t realize how much down time there is. The experience as a whole is unforgettable and definitely one that you can only fully comprehend when living it. I called it “adult summer camp on steroids”!

The Yak, from Forum Member 19Wingz: What do you think was your biggest downfall in the game, leading to your eviction?

Cassi: Although I didn’t begin to have the time to play the game that I had conceived in my head I wouldn’t say that I played a bad game or that I would do anything differently. I think my eviction was purely from circumstance and unfortunately personal issues within the house. I would have shaken things up if I had more time.

The Yak, from Forum Member Kristin: Knowing what you do now, who would you have teamed up with on the first night so that you wouldn’t feel bad campaigning against them to stay in the house?

Cassi: For several reasons, probably Dominic. He’s a strong competitor athletically so I probably would have spared myself the 15 days of slop and as a duo, our friendship wouldn’t have been seen as such a threat. Also, because he’s the only other person besides Shelly that I really trusted in the house and had it come down to him and I on the block – although we are great friends – for the sake of the game I would have been able to in good conscious been able to promote myself and had reasons as to why I was a safer pick to keep over him and afterwards, he wouldn’t have held me at fault knowing that that is what I had to do.

The Yak, from Forum Member Krazyvickay: Do you regret being so vocal about your plans and your fight with Rachel?

Cassi: Week one – I definitely was campaigning amongst all of the newbies why it was advantageous to keep Keith not only for myself but for everyone. I certainly would have been more tightlipped had I known that the newbies were going to cower to the veterans so quickly and in such mass, however, I think my campaigning was justified and not necessarily something I tried to keep a secret. I actually volunteered that information to Jeff and Jordan and explained my reasons for it. From a game standpoint, no one can knock that that keeping Keith was a smart move for myself and the other newbies. It was simply that I was so outspoken and independent with my own mind that the rest of the newbies used me as a scapegoat for what we were all feeling to stay in the good graces of the veterans – I was their safety net.

As far as Rachel is concerned, it was a very one sided fight.

The Yak, from Forum Member kmteach: Do you feel you defended yourself enough against the people that were coming after you in jealousy of your looks?

Cassi: Outside of the house, the issue would never have even gone as far as it did because I would have been indifferent to their feelings and walked away. I have too many good people in my life to be affected by the few bad. But in these close living quarters, I felt I took the high road and tried to approach the animosity as an adult and at least get to the point of cordial co-existence – but Rachel was having none of that. I certainly wouldn’t say that I backed down to her, which only added more fuel to the fire.

The Yak, from Forum Member knucklehead: Who of all the Houseguests do you think you will remain friends with outside the Big Brother House? Who would you prefer to never see again?

Cassi: I know without a doubt that I will remain in touch with Shelly and Dominic. I have it in good faith that I will still care for Lawon when its all said and done! It is a game, and should never become personal, however, in or out of the house I  have no respect for Brendon and Rachel so that is one friendship that you can expect will never happen.

The Yak, from Forum Member SassyGal: Do you regret going back on the deal the vets offered you before Keith was evicted?

Cassi: The deal was simply that Shelly and I wouldn’t put them up, and vice versa, until the final 7. I had no intention on going back from that deal until then unless they strayed first. I did, however, encourage the other newbies to keep Keith because he may have been one to have the audacity to nominate Brendon and Rachel. I don’t feel bad in having done that because our deal is that I wouldn’t personally do it, not that I couldn’t encourage others because, let’s face it, it needed to be done for any newbie to have a fighting chance in the end against the veterans.

The Yak, from Forum Member terpkings: Do you think being on Big Brother will help in any way to advance your career in modeling?

Cassi: Going into this, I didn’t realize how big it could be. I simply thought I would do the show and return to my life. So, I don’t really know what to expect or that I’ll even be remembered after two weeks!

The Yak, from Forum Member Hapyhouswf: You remained pretty honest in the house, but did misrepresent what you do for a living going in. Do you feel, now, that was a contradiction to your convictions?

Cassi: Absolutely not. I wasn’t forth coming about my career in hopes to prevent exactly what ended up happening anyhow, however, withholding that information wasn’t something that hurt anyone or diminished my character.

The Yak: Who would you like to go far in the competition?

Cassi: First and foremost, I would love for Shelly to win the whole thing, I think at this point she is greatly under estimated which is going to carry her far. Obviously next, Dominic. He’s a big heart and a sweet, gentle person and he absolutely deserves to be there. Adam’s another player I am rooting for – his vast knowledge of Big Brother and his mind could certainly work in his favor if he could just tame the enthusiasm a bit because that is casting a target on him that he may know too much.

The Yak: If you stayed in the game last night and won HOH, who would you have put up? If who you put up won the veto, who would you have put in their place?

Cassi: After it became clear that our deal was not one Brendon and Rachel had any intention of keeping, I would have absolutely nominated the two of them had I stayed in the game and one HOH last night. On the chance they won veto, I would have put up Kalia and Lawon in their place and rallied for Lawon to have the votes. If not, I would hope he could forgive me and realize it is a game and that was the smartest choice for me.

The Yak: What would you say is the best thing you experienced while being in the house? What was your worst experience (other than being evicted of course.)?

Cassi: Best: Honestly, it was a blessing just to have been there at all, and being one of eight new players for the year.  Obviously I am leaving with a couple of really strong friendships that will last beyond the house. And it was very validating to me that I could exit the house knowing that I portrayed myself exactly as I am and have nothing that I said or did to be shameful or regrettable – that is an incredible feeling.
Worst: I am a really honest person and my integrity is everything and to be looked at every day with distrusting eyes and for my name to be associated with “liar” is a hard pill to swallow, but I knew that coming in this was all part of the game.

The Yak: Thank you so much Cassi, we wish you all the luck in the world!

Will Kirby Says “No” to Big Brother 13

According to the Official Site of Will Kirby, a post was posted by an admin there stating it was from Will Kirby himself. I’m guessing it probably really was him, however can we trust what he says? Take a look and make your own decision:

Life is often confusing but once you have a child you can more easily discern important items from the superfluous. My focus these days is my family, my friends and my profession. While I sincerely appreciate the enthusiasm of reality television fans I have other priorities that supersede any possible participation in non-scripted programming this summer. Moreover, I absolutely enjoy public speaking and the occasional television appearance but I have officially retired from competition based shows – There is simply nothing left for me to accomplish in this genre. Now please don’t take this as a statement of arrogance; If you truly contemplate my current situation as well as my past history I’m sure you’ll agree with this decision.

That said, I wish nothing but the best to Robyn Kass, Allison Grodner, Rich Meehan, Les Moonves, Julie Chen and the entire CBS family. Will I watch Big Brother? Honestly, I don’t watch much TV these days. I also don’t think anyone was ever lying on his or her deathbed and said, “Now that my life is about to end I have one major regret: I sure wished I had spent more time watching Big Brother”! Point being, I’m a little preoccupied these days but I’m confident that the contestants this summer will provide the fans with minutes of entertainment.

Moving forward, my good friend, Mike Malin, has a new show, Famous Food, premiering on Vh1 on July 10th at 10:00 pm so you’ll be able to see him all summer and I have a number of scheduled appearances on QVC where I educate consumers about anti-aging products. I’m also in the process of expanding my laser tattoo removal clinics. In addition to the four Southern California locations we just opened in Dallas, Texas and are in the process of a multi-city expansion that will take place through 2013 so we can offer tattoo removal nationwide. I also co-authored two medical text book chapters and solely authored a third that will be published late this summer. Additionally, with serving as an associate clinical professor of dermatology at two medical schools I find very little free time. That said, I always find time to spend outdoors but and having had skin cancer myself, I always remind everyone to use sun avoidance measures and always wear sunscreen .

Ten years ago, to the day, I moved to Los Angles to create the life I always dreamed of and to fulfill my destiny… and you all helped me accomplish exactly that. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Now it is time for you to fulfill your destiny – which path will you choose?

Have a healthy and happy summer.

Love,

Dr. WILL KIRBY

What do you think? Real? To be believed? Did you want to see them back in the house, again? Let us know below, then come on into the FORUM where we are discussing all thing Big Brother!

Random Thought Thursday: Big Brother, Weiners, Green and Gold.

What’s with me and the pics of colored animals lately? Ah well… Wow, there are so many random thoughts floating around in my head today, that getting them out and done might be a good thing. Maybe I can get some actual work done. (Yeah right.) Well, here’s a few…

Big Brother 13

Woohoo! Here is comes! I myself am pretty excited. I really hope it’s another Season 2, 3, 6, 8, or 10, or even 11. Please don’t be a dismal season! Please don’t have anyone telling people not to argue. (I’m talking to you Ragan… love ya, but seriously? Us feed watchers don’t want kumbaya!) Will they play off the evil theme “13”? That could be fun! Will there be people that know one another in there? (Not fun… please don’t do that.) Will Jessie be back? (PLEASE DON’T DO THAT!) We are discussing all of our likes and dislikes in the forum… plus so many polls! Come join us! Right now.

Movie I am Looking Forward To

Yeah, random, but if you haven’t seen this trailer, it’s a must. I may even make it to the theater to catch this one. (One of those rare opportunities.) Watch this all the way through:

WeinerGate

Why are you still reading this? You should be in the forum registering, and voting in our polls on Big Brother! Alright, if you must finish this out… Seriously, I am so over this Weiner scandal. (Course everytime I say that, it makes me laugh like Beavis and Butthead.) I ‘almost’ want to say boys will be boys, but then, I know all men aren’t this way. Right? Am I right? Someone tell me I’m right. I want to hear the masses tell me that there are men out there that are not like this, or wouldn’t be like this if the situation presented itself. It just seems so prevalent these days that I sometimes lose faith. The problem is, these women put up with it! I mean, if this was going on for a few years, and these women are coming out NOW, not when it first happened, only now when they see the $$$ in their eyes, well, just shows you their morals.

In the meantime, why is this news? Personally, this is a personal problem he has got going on. Apparently, he needs people to tell him he has a nice, um, ‘member’ so-to-speak. Sounds like an insecurity to me. It happened between consenting adults. The only person this should be some major news for is his wife, or soon to be ex-wife, however she decides to deal with this. My personal feelings are she should be the latter. Course we learned she is in the early stages of pregnancy yesterday. That presents a whole new twist to her disappointing, heart breaking dilemma.

This really shouldn’t even be political. I mean yes, he is a politician… that in itself makes it political I guess. However, hearing Democrats and Republicans that supported others in their same party that had much worse sex scandals, calling for his resignation? Just shut up. No seriously, shut up. You can’t support one sexually deviant guy because he believes in your politics, and not either support or just shut up about the other. It’s hypocritical at best, and just makes them look stupid.

I digress, why is this news? Aren’t there more important things to talk about in the world? This is plastered all over my TV, my FB, all over Twitter… enough already! Let the Twitter and FB world get back to what it does best… letting guys send pics of their privates to willing participants. Plus, Big Brother is coming on soon. That is much more important!

Moving on – (and still wondering why you keep reading and have not gone and registered in the forum and posted on what you want to see in Big Brother.)

SYTYCD!

I love this show. I really love this show. If you haven’t watched, then it’s a must. Now, I know there are some of you out there, like me, who aren’t that fond of the screaming Mary Murphy tends to do when someone nails it. Yeah, I am not on the “Hot Tamale Train.” Sorry fans of that, I know, you all hate me now… but there are plenty who love her in the forum, so get on in there! (Which you should have already done anyway.) For the ones that are turned off by that, I say, TAPE IT. You can always forward her critique, like I did with Paula and Kara on American Idol. Plus, she really hasn’t been doing that so far this season, and her critiques have been good! So, tune in, you won’t regret it! (Watch… tonight she will scream more than ever now that I said that lol.) There are some amazing dancers on this year!

Death of a Great

Lastly, let me just say that I was very saddened to report that Andrew Gold passed away this week. I still had a couple of his songs on my playlist that I listen to a lot. He was an amazing musician, and brilliant songwriter. He was an idol of my youth. We will all miss him dearly, and my condolences go out to his family.

That is all for today folks. Now, let me know your random thoughts below, and as soon as you are finished, I expect to see you in the forum, registering, and getting ready to celebrate our favorite summer obsession, Big Brother! Seriously. Get in there. Now would be good.
