Right on the heels of the Big Brother 13 finale, it has been confirmed that Big Brother has been renewed for a 14th season and will be back next year! Yep, we will be treated to yet another season of our favorite show!

Yes, for now it’s just a rumor, mere speculation… but the Yak was wondering aloud, and I have to say, I may just agree with him.

Last night on Keith’s eviction interview, the questions he was asked were a bit vague. Julie had the chance to let him know who of the two in the newbie alliance had evicted him to get his reaction, and yet, she didn’t. Then came the goodbye messages… Although you had one from Cassi telling him if he is sitting out there, she is so sorry, but then it was craftily edited to also say “You treated this like the dating game, and this is the Big Brother game” making it vague whether she had voted to keep him or not. So went for the rest of the messages. Lawon even told Keith that he “Acted up a fool” which was why he was sitting out there. No “We tried” or “If you are sitting out there, something went terribly wrong with our alliance”… nothing.

In addition, in all his exit interviews around the web and on tv (Including here at The Yak… CLICK HERE to read his interview), there were no obvious questions asked that would spill any “secrets” that Keith may not already know is going on in the house.

Now, with Dick unexpectantly leaving the game, did this leave an open slot for a returnee? Did his departure cause a kink in the BB13 schedule? If you think about it, Dick Donato’s departure could be looked at like a “Fast Forward” kind of week, where two Houseguests leave in one week. Could it be they had already planned the Fast Forward, but now with Dick gone, there just wouldn’t be enough players to do it? Maybe it’s all speculation and rumor, but it makes a lot of sense.

After seeing the Big Brother House Pics, many Big Brother fans were wondering when we will get out first glimpse of the new Big Brother 13 cast.

Well, wonder no longer! According to Big Brother News sources, the cast will be revealed on the CBS Early Show Thursday morning, then hit the internet at 9am. Eastern (6am Pacific)! Stay tuned to the Yak. We will have all the pics, videos and info here!

No less than 1 minute ago, Robyn Kass of Kassting posted the following onto her main Twitter page: “#BB13 cast announcement almost here!!! Woo Hoo.” What does “almost here” mean? How soon is that around the corner? Speculation has been that news from Media Day will be released on 6/28. Can we get a cast announcement before then? Your guess is as good as ours. It’s nearly the middle of June and you know what that means … Big Brother rumor time! This time of the pre-season festivities ends up a huge Big Brother fan favorite! Before we breakdown the rumors floating around the vast interwebs, let me be the one to remind you that YakkityYaks is Big Brother central this summer! (Remember, the premiere is July 7 @ 9/8 CST right on CBS!) Ok, let’s get down to the dirty. Remember, these are all rumors, so don’t expect them as 100% truth this season (although you never know). But who are we kidding…rumors or not, we wanna talk Big Brother!

• There will be 14 houseguests
• The 14th houseguest will not be eligible for competition, but rather an offset for the unlucky 13
• One of the houseguests will carry a Big Brother curse, as unlucky 13
• One of the HGs is going to have someone they know from their past “haunting” them or something
• The Big Brother 13 houseguests will have house visits from “haunting” contestants in seasons past (aka houseguests you love to hate)
• The house will be decorated in some sort of Halloween or tribute to horror movies theme
• Repeat rumor from season’s past is that there will be 3 nominees for eviction this season, rather than the regular 2
• The return of PB&J just might be around the corner!
• A weekly competition of the aforementioned Big Brother curse will occur and replace the Have/Have-Not competition
