Most notable for his judging stint on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Piers Morgan will be moving to CNN in January 2011. His job? To fill the Larry King Live hour with “a candid, in-depth newsmaker interview program” CNN announced. Morgan’s new show, yet to be named, will air in the 9pm EST slot that is the home of King’s show. Larry King announced this summer that he will be leaving his show, one he has hosted since 1985. “I have watched ‘Larry King Live’ for much of the last 25 years, and dreamed of one day filling the legendary suspenders of the man I consider to be the greatest TV interviewer of them all,” Morgan said.
