What we know so far: Teams left the starting line in Los Angeles and flew to Sydney, Austrailia.
Teams were then spotted taking a train from the airport to Circular Quay and on to Harbour Bridge where they were to collect their clue at a tall ship outside Waterfront Restaurant (The Rocks at Campbell’s Cove).
Teams then spotted traveling on a ferry to Manly where they participated in a swimming task.
Once finished, teams had to travel by Taxi to the Manly Yacht Club, and perform a sailing task.
According to sources, this is where the pit stop entered the picture, but it was a false stop, the teams were told to keep racing, Phil was seen taking clues from under the mat to give to the teams.
They then had to travel by ferry to Sydney, find the “To Sail to Stop” sculpture at the Town Hall to receive their next-day flight times.
Teams received their flight times, and according to sources, the teams received their flights in this order:
6:00AM DEPARTURE TIME: Jen/Kisha, Mike/Mel, Jamie/Cara, Margie/Luke, Zev/Justin, Kynt/Vyxsin
6:30AM DEPARTURE TIME: Flight Time/Big Easy, Ron/Christina, Gary/Mallory, Amanda/Kris, Jet/Cord
First elimination of the upcoming season is still unknown.
I for one am very happy to see some of these teams returning. I loved the Globetrotters, the Cowboys, Gary and Mallory, Margie and Luke… I think I am really looking forward to the upcoming season. Seeing the destinations in HD will be a huge plus as well! How about you? Let us know below or in the FORUM!
