The Amazing Race has managed to keep us guessing and cheering louder than ever before! The 20th season been filled with a diverse and wonderful cast. The journey has been filled with a wide range of emotions that have left the viewers sitting on the edge of the couch.
We have seen the amazing bonds of siblings (Misa and Maiya; Elliot and Andrew), cousins (Kerri and Stacy), best friends (Joey and Danny; Jamie and Nary) and spouses (David and Cherie). These six teams have raced and been eliminated thus far with great grace and dignity. They have each shared with The Yak the highs and lows of their race experiences. Each of these six teams would be a pleasure to watch race again if another all-star race occurs!
The race continues for spouses (Dave and Rachel), engaged Big Brother veterans (Brendon and Rachel), dating (Ralph and Vanessa) and best friends (Mark and Bopper; Art and JJ). The remaining five teams have delivered drama to this season! Dave and Rachel have for the first time in race history taken first place at the pit-stops for 5 legs. Ralph and Vanessa have been lost more often than not yet are still racing! Brenchel has managed to hang on strong despite the attempts of some teams to see them gone! Art and JJ are tough guys that showed us they are really softies inside by offering to share their first place leg prize with Mark and Bopper. Mark and Bopper are the real deal, best friends chasing a dream to better the lives of their families.
The teams have all worked well together with their teammates. Mark and Bopper have earned the respect of the other teams and the American viewer. Last night they were at their best showing that first and foremost was that they cared for the health and well-being of each other. The families of these two men must be so very proud of how devoted they are to each other and them! They have managed to earn the respect of all their fellow race mates and the viewers also.
Good Luck to all the remaining racers!!
