The Amazing Race: 5 Teams left…Any truly deserving?

Here at the Yak, we love our “reality.” Well, not our own little reality because sometimes that gets crazy, but “reality” TV nonetheless. As real as it can be. Voting people off islands, walking down a runway, living in a house, giving people flowers, singing, dancing, and world travelling. Sounds like the start to a bad book. Even so, we get entertained.

Jet & Cord ~ My pick to win this whole thing. Based on who’s left, I don’t think many are as likable and personable as these two. Plus, they are a huge testament to true friendship – and how can you go against that? Between the “Oh my gravy’s” and the clue skipping, these two need to keep up their antics but stay focused and don’t get any more time penalties and they could very well win!

Brent & Caite ~ I don’ t think there is much to say, other than Brent is starting to annoy me more than Caite. And who woulda predicted that? I see them maybe getting to the Final 3 if they keep focused, but they’re too fickle. Who knows? I have to say – good for her on giving America a better (more correct?) impression of who she is after the Miss America fiasco.

Carol & Brandy ~ Does anyone like these two bitter bi*ches? Geez. They never smile (until once last week and I missed it cuz I blinked) and they are always down each other’s throats. They need to go back to whatever kingdom they’re from, eat whatever food they eat and get off my TV. Thanks.

Dan & Jordan ~ I don’t know what I think of these two. They’re funny, seem to be interesting people to have a drink or two with, but they annoy me sometimes. Too much bickering. They’re family, though. So that’s legit. Let’s keep them in the for the Finals. It’ll make for an interesting run to the finish.

Louie & Michael ~ I definitely did not see them in the Final 5 way back when the season started. In fact, I don’t think I even knew they were on the race until a couple episodes in. They’re entertaining but sometimes I wonder if they are really detectives. The way they approach some things baffles me. I wouldn’t mind if they won (it would be well deserved), but I’m not pullin’ for them.
