Chicago Fire Ablaze |
NBC is not looking to put out “Chicago Fire” just yet. As we tweeted yesterday, NBC has ordered yet another episode of the freshman series. The show initially was given a full 22-episode season after improvement in ratings earlier this season. NBC initially gave the series another episode totaling to 23 until ordering yet another episode this week. Is “Chicago Fire” the procedural type drama NBC needs on its schedule?
Top Chef Renewed, Being Human ending |
Also announced yesterday, Bravo has given its cooking reality show an eleventh season. This season is currently airing and takes place in Seattle. No word on where next season will base or when it will air. Meanwhile, BBC Three in the UK has announced that the upcoming 5th season of Being Human will be its last. SyFy is currently airing the third season in the US, so the show isn’t ending here any time soon.
Schindler’s 20th Anniversary |
2013 marks the 20th anniversary of the acclaimed movie Schindler’s List. On February 23, the USA network will air the film uninterrupted without commercial interruption. Director Steven Spielberg will preface the movie with a special introduction.
The Office Closes Doors |
NBC announced earlier Thursday that The Office will air its season finale on Thursday May 16. The finale will mark the show’s 200th episode and will air for a special one-hour. We know that Steve Carell is not going to a part of the finale, but no other details were given.
Finally, Survivor: Caramoan will no longer air a special two-hour season premiere on Wed Feb 13. CBS announced today that the premiere will last a special “90-minutes” and will be followed by an encore presentation of The Big Bang Theory. No reason for the change was published, but we’re guessing the premiere wasn’t creatively working with a full two hours.
