Yak Roundup: Did Adele Really Give It to Chris Brown? And More TV News…

adele-chris-brown-1360693397All over the interwebs, sites mislead and misguide readers all over based on one simple picture. What many may have you to believe is that Adele wasn’t having Chris Brown not giving Frank Ocean a standing O after losing to him. And her solution? Yell at him, likely based on anger from the Rihanna fiasco. But what many aren’t sharing is the following photo (seen below) where Adele and Chris Brown are happily posing for a photo op. There really is no proof whether Adele and Brown shared some beef or if they had just a casual Grammy encounter.

In more music news, the country music Hall of Fame has plans to bring a Blown Away Tour exhibit to Music City, celebrating Grammy winner Carrie Underwood’s latest successful tour. The exhibit opens early June and will be open until mid-November and will feature clothing, set pieces, mics and other special memorabilia from Underwood’s latest tour.

adele-chris-brown-2-1360693428In TV news, Showtime has released a trailer teasing The Big C: Hereafter, which returns in April. The show’s final mini-season promises to be an emotional roller coaster. Also from Showtime, a full length trailer of Ray Donovan, which premieres after Dexter on June 30, has been released. And finally on the premium TV front, Veep will premiere its second season on April 14 at 10/9c.

American Music Awards: And the Nominees Are…

Oddly enough, Christina Aguilera (coach of NBC’s The Voice) joined producers of the American Music Awards (airing on ABC) to announce the nominations earlier today in Los Angeles. Aguilera is also the first performer announced for the 40th annual AMAs. Last years big winners, Taylor Swift and Adele, ended up with only one nomination each. Big time Idol success stories Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood nabbed two nominations each, while Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Usher, Chris Brown, One Direction and Maroon 5 snagged some nods their way. Minaj and Rihanna lead the nomination tally with 4 a piece. Newcomer Gotye got into the mix with a couple nominations. In addition to Artist of the Year, Justin Bieber snagged 2 more nominations in the Pop Album and Male Artist department.

The AMAs are determined through fan voting, which starts today. (Click here to cast your votes) Check out the full list of nominations below and let us know what you think!

The AMAs are set to air LIVE from Los Angeles on November 18th at 8/7c on ABC!

What We’re Arguing About…

If you haven’t been to the Forum in awhile, or ever for that matter, well then you are missing out on sharing your opinions with us! Not only do we discuss every Reality Show you love and become Big Brother Central in the Summer, but we also discuss current events, Holidays, Movies, TV Shows and more!

We also however have a special section that we can debate (Argue) some more controversial issues. Currently, we are discussing how Hollywood seems to have a double-standard. How celebrities seem to be able to get away with things that the otherwise normal person, like you, can’t.

One of our members mentions Charlie Sheen, Mel Gibson, Chris Brown, Michael Jackson, OJ, Lindsay Lohan… Saying the former three are abusers, Jackson of course with the child molestation, and well, you know the deal on the latter two.

Another member says “If you have fame and money, you can sleep with children, kill your wife, bite your girlfriend, etc. All of that is socially acceptable here. But if you even THINK about lighting a cigarette, it’s the end of the world; never to be forgotten or forgiven.”

Another one of our members feels that Celebrities are like Gods, and should be able to live the double standard.

I will not take sides out here, but sides are definitely being drawn in there. CLICK HERE to make your voice heard! You can post as a guest, or register for FREE to receive all the benefits of being one of our members! Plus, you can help out the one side, or the other, to try and win this argument!
